As part of efforts to enhance partnerships with the private sector and support the EGYAID alumni of the Partnering in Business with Germany program, Ms. Doaa Selima, Excutive President of Industrial Modernization Center (IMC), visited Global Napi Pharmaceuticals, accompanied by Mr. Manuel Balz, Deputy Program Director and Representative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, and Mr. Jörg Schreiber, Senior Project Manager along with representatives from IMC’s Training and Capacity Building Unit.
During the visit, the delegation attended a presentation by Global Napi Pharmaceuticals on key partnerships established with the German private sector in technology transfer. These collaborations have significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of the company’s products and opening new export markets. The German delegation praised Global Napi’s performance since joining the program, highlighting its success in securing multiple business agreements with the German market. This success reflects the effectiveness of the company’s expansion strategies and underscores the impact of the Partnering in Business with Germany program in increasing trade between Egypt, Germany, and other European Union markets.
Following the visit to Global Napi, the German delegation, accompanied by representatives from IMC’s Training and Capacity Building Unit, visited Archi Touch, a company specializing in office furniture manufacturing. Archi Touch is an alumnus of the program and has witnessed remarkable growth in production and exports since its participation, benefiting from advanced German technologies.
Additionally, Archi Touch actively supports the integration of industry and academia through several cooperation agreements with Egyptian universities. These partnerships provide students with valuable opportunities to benefit from the company’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, helping them develop essential skills and better prepare for the job market.
The German delegation expressed great appreciation for the success stories of Global Napi Pharmaceuticals and Archi Touch, acknowledging their positive impact on both the Egyptian and German markets.
